![]() The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. He is often referred to as the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Lord, or the Comforter. The Holy Ghost “witnesses of the Father and the Son” (2 Nephi 31:18) and reveals and teaches “the truth of all things” (Moroni 10:5). We receive our testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ only by the power of the Holy Ghost. In Moroni 10: 5 we learn that “by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.” How can we learn truth from the Holy Ghost? The answer is found in Doctrine and Covenant 9:8-9. We need to study the problem out in our mind. Then we ask God if it is right. If it is right, God will cause our bosom to burn within and we shall feel that it is right. If it is not right, we will have a stupor of thought which will cause us to forget the thing which is wrong. I know the Holy Ghost teaches us truth. I have felt him teach me as I learn about Heavenly Father and Jesus. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. ![]() Noah completed his challenge from his Primary class last week. He had to say at least two prayers and then each time he got to put his sticker on his prayer chart. Noah was so excited to turn in his chart on Sunday because he said his teacher would bring him a treat. Guess who showed up tonight with his treat! He was so excited! And his brothers are a little jealous.... |
